Angela Brown started her career more than fifteen years ago as a researcher at In Style and later as an Editorial and Publicity Coordinator for a book imprint. She writes about a variety of lifestyle topics, though has a particular interest in issues that relate to motherhood, family, food and the modern home. 

Angela has an MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a BA in English from the University of Vermont. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times and Real Simple, among other publications. She is the recipient of an Artist’s Grant from the Vermont Studio Center and has earned multiple awards and recognitions for her writing. She teaches writing at the graduate, undergraduate and secondary level. Currently, she is at work on her first novel (sample chapters available upon request) and is available for freelance projects. 

She lives in Northern New Jersey with her husband, a New York City bar and restaurant owner, and their young daughter.
